Description
Here's another trading card (2.5 inch x 3.5 inch) drawn on illustration board featuring Devil Dog (AKA Angel Dog) from the Gregory Horror Show. I used ink & markers for this.
I have reinterpreted Devil Dog's original outfit. Now it's more of a coat than a dress. I also used a less block-y style than the series, which is highly stylized (and CG animated).
I love the series for its wild characters and overall design. DD is my favorite due to her purple color scheme and insane looking multi-colored eyes.
Background info:
Angel/Devil Dog is from Gregory Horror Show volume 1, and also stars in the Playstation 2 GHS video game. In the show, she appears as the helpful Angel Dog and then transforms into Devil Dog on a whim. She summons a door for the player that leads to "Heaven or Hell," although she isn't always sure where exactly it will take them.
In the game she is one of the last guests that you have to collect a soul from. Her soul is quite challenging to snag, since you have to make sure she's distracted by her favorite TV show (a soccer/football game) at just the right time of day. She is the only guest aside from Roulette Boy who has a room in the basement of Gregory House.
Right now it looks as though she just banished someone to hell.
