***UPDATE***
I have sent the original piece to Catherine Coulson, the actress who played The Log Lady in the series. She sent a note thanking me for the sketch card, along with a signed photo, a signed card with her custom "log" stamp, and the Star Pics trading cards I shamelessly asked her to autograph to me and a friend. She really made my day, and I'm extremely grateful~ The photo is framed on the wall above my desk.

The Log Lady, AKA Margaret Lanterman, is one of the stranger residents in the town of Twin Peaks. She plays a very important role in the series, and assists Agent Cooper in his quest to solve the murder of Laura Palmer.

From the wiki (because I can't write a better description):
The Log Lady is a fixture in the town of Twin Peaks by the time of Laura Palmer's murder, and most residents in the town regard her as crazy. This is mainly due to her habit of always carrying a small log in her arms, with which she seems to share a psychic connection, often dispensing advice and visions of clairvoyance which she claims come from the log; prior to the murder, she delivers moving and cryptic warnings to Laura Palmer herself. The Log Lady does not interpret the messages transmitted by the log, but instead functions as a medium for the information it conveys.

This version was drawn on a trading card size piece of bristol paper with ink and markers. 2.5 x 3.5 inches. Shown slightly larger than actual size. The scanner washes out some of the solid black inks.

If you haven't seen Twin Peaks, start with the US version of the pilot. It's probably my favorite live action TV drama series of all time, even though it never had a proper ending.

EDIT: 9/29/2015
The talented Catherine Coulson has just passed away. I'm glad that I had the chance to mail her this art when I did, and that she was kind enough to respond. I will treasure the things she signed for me, always.

Let everyone you care about know how much you love them, okay? It's very important to tell them, and express it. We only get so much time here, and it is all precious.

First having watched Twin Peaks, The Log Lady tipped me off to just how wonderfully weird of a show I was in for. Fast-forward to the end of the series, and I'd argue that she had some of the most memorable lines in the entire show! A unique character to be sure.

Anyway, great work on this! And major props for getting this picture to Catherine Coulson as well!
